WILL CAMPBELL shares a love of football with the love of his life.

The New England Patriots rookie star is dating somebody he met while at LSU.

Campbell, 21, was selected with the No. 4 overall pick by the Patriots in last month's NFL Draft.

He cried tears of joy on the stage in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

And the offensive lineman put pen to paper on a $43.5 million before reporting to his new team.

One person with him through the whole process was girlfriend Ashlynn Nussmeier.

Nussmeier is also an alumni at LSU.

Her connection to the Tigers football team is not just from Campbell.

She is the sister of LSU quarterback Garrett, 23.

And hero father is former quarterback turned coach Doug Nussmeier.

He played in the league from 1994 to 1999 before turning to a successful coaching career.

The 54-year-old recently accepted the role of New Orleans Saints offensive coordinator.

Nussmeier earned the call having been on the Philadelphia Eagles staff that won the Super Bowl.

He was quarterbacks coach for the team last season and helped them to glory in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Ashlynn attended the game and celebrated with her father on the field afterwards.

She shared some family pics from the glorious night at the Superdome on Instagram.

And Ashlynn will be hoping to return to the NFL's showpiece game to cheer on her boyfriend Campbell.

The newest member of the Patriots spoke to US Magazine before the NFL Draft last month.

“She’s amazing,” he said of his girlfriend.

“She has a football background, so she knows what it takes, the sacrifices that have to be made.
